The Holiday Apartment

The apartment "Himmelreich" is one of three vacation apartments in a renovated historic building, a former residence of the parish priest. A cobbled way leads to the charming building and parking near large old trees. The main features of the building are a historical impressive huge window with christian scenery and a cross made of brownstone on the roof.

Inside the apartment offers three bedrooms with double beds, corridor, bathroom (additional guest toilet at main entrance), living room with fully equipped fitted kitchen and wooden dining table with space for up to 10-12 persons. A covered terrace leads to our pretty garden with wooden garden furniture, lawn for sunbathing and barbecue grill.

Location and surroundings

Köwerich is an idyllic wine village surrounded by lots of vineyards near the river mosel along the Römische Weinstrasse close to the old roman town Trier und the historic Bernkastel with half-timbered buildings.

There are lots of things you can enyjoy: cycle along the river Mosel, take a trip on the boat, walk in the vineyards, explore the historical culture of 2000 years, book a wine-tasting, enjoy the wine festivals in summer, relax in our garden, visit the roman town Trier, the middle-age town Bernkastel-Kues, the gemstone-town Idar-Oberstein, the Eifelmaare (Vulcanism) or Luxemburg city.
Come and enjoy the impressive mosel valley and the mild climate of the area and take a rest with a delicious mosel wine from our local wineries.

   Wir haben den Urlaub in dem liebevoll renovierten Ferienhaus genossen. Da glücklicherweise auch das Wetter mitspielte, konnten wir den Garten noch zum Boule- und Federballspielen. Die Mosel zur Zeit der Weinlese ist wirklich eine Reise wert - und der Wein, der direkt im Ort angebaut und vollendet wird, ist überaus köstlich.

   Das Altes Pfarrhaus (Köwerich) ist eine Perle an der Mosel, situiert zwischen Naturschönheit und viele Sehenswürtigkeiten.
   Die Wohnung ist umfangreig und sauber und die Ausrüstung ist perfekt.
   Dazu gibt’s noch einer grosser Garten zwischen die Weinreben.
   Der Gastgeber und die Gastgeberin sind sehr nett.

3. An excellent apartment in a quiet small village

   We stayed, with our 4 teenagers, in the apartment during the last long weekend of October. The nature in the autumn is beautiful, and thanks to Frau Lex-Götte, we did some nice hiking in the neighbourhood. Trier is only 15 minutes away, and worth a visit.
   
   The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, 6 excellent beds,...The apartment is located in a small village with a beautiful view on the vineyards, without any traffic noise. The only thing we missed was a internet connection, however, with the available documentation and with the help of Frau Lex-Götte we manage to enjoy our stay a lot.

   Wir haben unseren Urlaub trotz Regen sehr genossen. Die Wohnung gefiel uns sehr gut. Unsere Kinder hatten genug Bewegungsfreiheit und Platz zum Spielen. Leider konnten wir den Grill im Garten nicht ausprobieren. Der Ordner in der Wohnung mit Ausflugstips war superhilfreich - dazu noch die prima Beratung von Frau Lex-Götte, die sich auch immer sofort gekümmert hat - vielen Dank. Wir kommen hoffentlich mal wieder. Viele Grüße von der Ostsee
