Our family guest house, with its terraces, gardens and a private parking lot, is situated in a sunny and peaceful part of the town, overlooking the sea. There are three supermarkets close to the house. It is just few hundred of meters distant from the seaside, while a 10 min pleasant walk along the sea will take you to the center of the town (the town port).
From the port there are taxi boats that will take you to different excursion places and to the Pakleni Islands on which there are lovely natural bays and nudist beaches with plenty of catering services.
Breakfast is served on our terrace, if requested. In July and August, we make bookings weekly (Saturday to Saturday). June, July, August and September are the months when our guests are treated Dalmatian supper which comprises: aperitive, hot d'oeuvre or soup, main course and desert and is served on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The supper is extra charged except in July and August when it is already in the price of the stay with us. |

The surrounding area
We are expecting you in the shade of grapes and kiwi plants on our grill-terrace with a welcome drink of good home-brewed wine, prosecco, grape brandy, herb-flavored brandy, martinovica or a refreshing home made proschek.

Maja, the wife, is a good houseife and cook, who has graduated from Secondary catering school and School for salesmen. Language communication in English and German.
Jakov, a hotelier and a catering specialist with 15 year experience of working in Germany, is also a passionate wine cellar tender. He also has a lot of experience in producing wines, desert wines ( prosecco ), Hvar her-brandy and other sorts of brandies. He is fluent in German and can mamage in Italian.
All the guests, from all over Europe and other parts of the world (America, Australia and new Zeland), who have been staying with us, coming through Internet contact, have been quite pleased with the stay and the service, and we hope so will you.
Occasionally there is wine tasting in our wine cellar along with the treat of the dalmatia prosciutto and Pag cheese.

Activities
Should you wish to discover the beauties of the island of Hvar and see other touristic destinations of the island, we recommand the Piaggio-Energie 50 cm3 authomaticscooters. They are rented at the price of 38,00 Eero per day in August and at any other period at 34,00 Euro.

We offer breakfast, supper and good home made wines, brandy and sweet porto from our cellar. Virgin olive oil from our olive groves is availiable.

Special characteristics
* In July and August, we make bookings weekly (Saturday to Saturday).
* June, July, August and September are the months when our guests are treated Dalmatian supper which comprises: aperitive, hot d'oeuvre or soup, main course and desert and is served on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The supper is extra charged except in July and August when it is already in the price of the stay with us.
* Extra bed in August at 11,00 and at other times at 8,00 .
* Price for 1 night stay is the additional 50%, and for 2 and 3 nights the additional 30%, except in July and August.
* Double bedroom used as single comes up to additional 75% of the price.
* The appartments are fully equipped: TV SAT, air condition, also linen and towels. The maintenance is left to the guests themselves. The sheets are changed weekly, towels twice a week.
* Following your reservation you are kindly requested to forward the 30% cost payment to make your reservation firm and valid.
* Should you pay the full amount in advance, namely up to 100 days prior to your stay it will earn you a 5% discount.
* Pets are not welcome.

The island of Hvar is one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world (magazin TRAVELER). You will discover beautiful nature, cristal clear blue sea, mild healthy cimate all year round. Hvar is the sunniest island of the Adriatic Sea. Swimming season is from May to October. The fragrance of lavender, rosemary, heather and other Mediterranean herbs is in the air. Dalmatian cousine offers famous fish specialities of crabs, shells and meat specialities too. These are few of the many reasons to visit the island of Hvar.

Welcome to the town which takes pride in 135 year old tradition in tourism, the jewel of Croatia. Whichever road one may choose to come to Hvar, one would come across many a monument witnessing the rich historic heritage.
The main town square, St.Stephen square, lined by right and left side by fine palaces of the two oldest parts of the town, Groda and Burg, is considered the largest and most beautiful medevial square on the Adriatic coast. Furthermore it is crowned by the oldest communal theatre in Europe, finished and open to the public in the early 1612.
The mild climate, 300 sunny days per year, lush vegetation, picturesque bays, lovely pebble beaches and picnic resorts, clear summer nights with million diamond stars above and crystal clear emerald sea by day, revealing all Neptunes riches to visitors are completed by the intensive fragrance of lavender, rosemary, heather and other aromatic herbs. Cricket and grasshopper concerts lull you to sleep. It makes the visit immemorable and Hvar one of the most appealing destinations on the Adriatic coast.
How to reach Hvar ?
You can travel to Split by bus, by train, by ship or by car, or else you can take a ferry from Rijeka to Split or directly to Stari Grad on Hvar Island. It will take you about 20 minutes to arrive from Stari Grad to Hvar by car.
If you choose to arrive in Split by plane, there is a bus transfer from the airport to Split harbor (30 min), from where you take a speed-boat or catamaran (60 min) or a ferry to Hvar Island (100-120 min).
In case you are not coming by car you can reach Hvar by a direct catamaran line in 60 min drive.
When travelling by car, one can arrive to the island by ferry from Drvenik to Sucuraj, situated in the eastern part of the island (30 min by ferry and 2.5 hours by car to Hvar Town).
