Falkenstein is a traditional old wine-growing area in the very north-east of Lower Austria. The Castle of Falkenstein is nearly 1000 years old and was built on a big lime-stone cliff.
There is one of the most beautiful cellar lines of the Weinviertel here. In our own cellar vault - built in the 14 th century - you can taste a wide selection of different wines and delicate meals which are typical for the region.
