Tir Na Spideoga, this is a guesthouse, Fishing lodge and apartments. We have single, double and three persons rooms, as well as two-, four, six, and eight persons apartments,most of them thatched. Wether you wish to
experience the quietnes&seclusion of our converted farm in the farmhouse itself;wether you want to cater for yourself or take full board in our large heated conservatory;you will not forget the magnificent landscape of West-Cork
and its friendly people - Cead mille failte!

Location and surroundings
Tir Na Spideoga, the country of the robins, lies between the villages of Inchigeelagh & Ballingeary in one of the few Irish cultural enclaves of the "emerald isle." The farmhouse and apartments stand on 3 acres of great natural beauty , a wonderland of lakes and mountains .It is ideally positioned as a starting-point for touring the South-West,being close to the famous Gougane Barra National Park(6 miles).Well worth a trip is historic Bantry Bay and Glengariff
(20 miles)with nearby Garinish Island and its Italian Gardens.Glengariff is also positioned on the Ring of Beara circuit of the Beara Peninsula with the spectacular Healy Pass. Your touring programme should include the Ring of Kerry,probably the best known touring roads in Ireland.

We rent out 3 boats &engines on nearby
Lough Allua, a system of lakes abounding
in perch ,pike ,eel,trout ,roach and bream .The lakes&the River Lee await exploration in our canoes. Bicycles are at your disposal or you may go riding on our horses called Beamish& Feilim
There are weekly traditional folk sessions
in the local pubs,while not far away you may spend a visit to the highest pub in Ireland - the " Top of Coom " .

liebe Sigi,
wir haben uns bei Euch pudelwohl gefühlt und können Eure Anlage jedem sehr gerne weiter empfehlen. Es ist wie im Bilderbuch bei Euch, man hat wirklich seine Ruhe und die Kinder können toben bis sie aufgrund der sehr guten Luft müde ins Bett fallen. Das sehr leckere Essen gibt seinen Rest dazu. Das Angeln auf dem See ist ein Idylle - auch für Anfänger sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt kann man sogar klassischen Badeurlaub am Sandstrand machen. Ein edüllischer Platz.
Angel auf dem großen See mit Boot war einfach herrlich. Sehr empfehlens Wert ist Hohseeangel in UNIHAll mit Jim.

Hey Latür, alter Handwerker.
ich muss schon sagen, seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt hat sich richtig was getan. Liebe Siggi, lieber Greg unser Sohnemann Vincent, nur genannt Vini oder Gretzky, kommt jetzt so langsam in das Alter, indem wir angefangen die "Verarschtrickhefte" zu schreiben. ich habe ihm davon erzählt und er hat sich nicht mehr einbekommen. Es wäre mal gut, ihm paar Highlights vorzulesen und zu erzählen.
Stehe in direkten Verhandlungen mit meinem Weib. Vielleicht kommen wir in den Osterferien mal hoch. Kommt drauf an wie die in 2009 fallen. Vor allem kommt es drauf an, ob ihr schon geöffnet habt, oder seid ihr mittlerweile "ganzjährig" auf diesem schönen Fleckchen Erde ???
