The Holiday House
Privat old historical, but renovated holiday home in Provence which is very comfortable with its original beams, pretty floors and Occitan antiques, cloths and French paintings. You will spend a great holiday - no matter if you are a couple or an extended family. Have delicious meals in the dining room, on one of the terraces or at the pool. The swimming pool (14 x 6 mtr.) is illuminated in the evenings as well as the park; truly a wonderful sight... Additionally, the lavender around the pool fills the air with its bewitching scent.
6 rooms and 3 bathrooms on two levels with a total living space of 210 sqm. There are 4 large bedrooms (1 with balcony and gallery), a dining room, living room with fireplace (wood provided), 4 terraces and a kitchen. All rooms have view to the splendid 8,000 sqm Occitan garden with many trees, such as oaks, cypresses, olive and almond trees.
Special features
Large windows facing south to the park. Central heating and fireplace make this a comfortable holiday destination even in winter. My house is managed well by the manager and the cleaning lady. During low and off-season there are discounts up to 75 %

Location and surroundings
The holiday rental Maison Les Amandiers is located in the department Var in Provence.
It is set amidst the beautiful landscape between Draguignan and Lorgues in a wine-growing area. It is the perfect starting point between the Verdon Gorge and the French Riviera with its many long sandy beaches between Nice and Aix-en-Provence to explore the whole region.
Verdon Gorge with the Lac de Sainte-Croix, a spectacle of nature, is set in an impressing landscape surrounded by picturesque villages and only a 40 min drive away.
You can go through the gorges by boat, swim in the crystal-clear lake or hike all year round.
Make also a trip to the numerous, apparently endless lavender fields around Valensole.
