The forester`s lodge is located in the middle of the woods. At the Stettiner Haff (2,5 km from the apartment) you will find opportunities for fishing, sailing and swimming.
The island Usedom has a good network of bikways wich starts right at the forester`s lodge. Its about 11km to the city of Usedom.
In the vicinity are numerous excursion destinations. Some of them you can reach by foot.

Arrival
After you reached the City Usedom you have to continue to Stolpe. Follow the street til you reach a green place-name sign "Prätenow". A 100m further you´ll see thre mailboxes on the left side. Turn left here and follow the dirt road about 1,5 km straight into the woods. It ends at your destination.

Super schöne Ferien

by Ellen Schultz from SchkopauWir waren schon das dritte mal im Forsthaus Waschensee. Das allein spricht schon für einen schönen Urlaub. Durch die Ruhe, die Umgebung und Fam. Rothe mit ihren Tieren und ihrer Freundlichkeit fühlen wir uns jedes Mal pudelwohl. Es gibt viel Platz für die Kinder zum toben. Man kann sich sehr gut erholen, sportlich betätigen und wird dazu sehr motiviert. Es ist zwar nicht direkt am Wasser gelegen, aber für einen Urlaub weit weg von Lärm und Menschenmassen, nehmen wir das gern in Kauf. Unser Jüngster fühlt sich hier am wohlsten und möchte jedesmal bleiben. Spaß und Erholungsfaktor sehr hoch.
