The Holiday Apartment

The small limestone cottage with timber-framed gable leans on a small winegrower’s house from the late 18th century. In earlier times, the cottage was used as a goat stable and hayloft. Through rebuilding nine years ago, the cottage has become a homely maisonette (2x15sq.m) with a ground-level sleeping room for two persons and bathroom (WC, washing basin, shower); up the internal stairs is the living room. Here you can read, play piano, or enjoy an Ingelheim red wine. The guest cottage, located in a quiet alleyway, is fully autonomous with its own entrance at street level.

Special features

You can prepare coffee and tea, but not cook a meal.
Breakfast will come in picknick basket, on weekends you also can have it served.
Room service by request.

-20 minute walking distance to the “Burgkirche”, a fortified church from the 15th century, around which the “Ingelheim Red Wine Fest” takes place each October
-Rüdesheim (by ferry), Bingen and Mainz are within easy “bicycle distance”

   Ich war zu einer Lesung im Museum und konnte deshalb leider in einer für Ferien nicht so geeigneten Jahreszeit nur 1 Nacht dort verbringen. Das Häuschen ist super gemütlich; wenn es eine kleine Küchenzeile hätte, wäre es perfekt Aber Teller und Kaffeemaschine sind vorhanden, so dass man frühstücken kann. Freundliche Vermieter.
