Garden from the house	The vacation rental With a cosy garden, half sun/half shade under two large red beech trees. The centre of the village is but a 10 minute walk away. Comfortably furnished, 1 master bedroom and 2 children's bedrooms, cabel-TV, Radio and DVD-player, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dish washer and oven. Terrace with garden furniture. We have our own parking space right in front of our home. And last but not least; we have 3 independent cats who love company.
View from outside	The surrounding area Bergen is a lovely village with plenty of restaurants, shops, a Museum, a Post Office and several Art Galleries. An Art Market is held every Friday night around the old church. The nearest beach is approx. 3 miles from the village (Bergen aan Zee), it can be reached by car or by bicycle (bike rental in village). The area is wel-known for its lovely beaches, sand dunes, polders and woods and full of walking and cycling possibilities. Bergen is situared about 5 miles from Alkmaar, a city with a rich history and a lot of monuments, its famous Cheese Market every Friday from April til September. From Alkmaar you can easily catch a train to Amsterdam (35 minutes). There is an 18-hole golfresort within a mile as well.
