The vacation rental
Rowantree Cottage dates back to the 1850s when it was built to house the local workers of the Luss Estate. There have been extensive upgrades since then and a comfortable house developed.
There are two bedrooms with ensuite facilities, one double bedded room and one twin bedded room. Each room is equiped with a TV, DVD player and complimentary welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. The en-suite facilities have showers, complimentary toilettries, a shaver point and a hair dryer.
A residents lounge is available with TV, DVD/VCR player and a comprehensive selection of DVDs for your entertainment.
The DVDs can also be viewed in your room at you leisure. |
Arrochar and Loch Long

The surrounding area
Rowantree Cottage is situated in the centre of Arrochar close to shops, the Ben Arthur pub and a selection of restuarants to suite all tastes. There are magnificent views from the cottage rooms across Loch Long to the Arrochar Alps beyond including Ben Arthur, also known as 'The Cobbler'
Loch Lomond is 2 kilometres distant , while Glasgow and Oban are an hour away. Glasgow Airport is 45 minutes by car.
Arrochar is an ideal place to use as a base for exploring the Cowal peninsula and The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
The area is splendid for walkers, climbers, mountain bikers, divers and fishermen.
There are local cruises on Loch Lomond and local boat hire on Loch Long for fishing.
