The vacation rental
The cottage was completed in 2007 and offers 3 storeys. On the ground floor you will find a dining room and a kitchen. The first storey has a living room with TV, PS2 and DVD-player and 4 large bedrooms (each for 2 guests - additional baby bed available). In the loft is an open studio with internet PC, large sitting corner (3 sofas) and an LCD-TV with DVD, sat-receiver (German TV), poker table and table football.
In the cellar is a pool area with a whirlpool (only for 7 guests at the moment). The sauna can be used as well - against a fee.
For business meetings a conference room on the ground floor can be booked with tables and chairs (56 mē).

The surrounding area
The property is only 5 km away from Palanga, not far from the Baltic Ocean. Palanga is the "Party metro pole" of the Baltic States. A new esplanade (over 1 km long!) has been built. It is surrounded by beer gardens and restaurants and in the summer time it invites to simply sit down and enjoy the evenings near the coast. The clean and large beach is also ideal for families with children.
The house stands 25 km from Klaipeda, from where you can use the ferry from Neda (where the Thomas Mann-house is) to the Kursian spit.
In the immediate surroundings of the house are a small supermarket and 2 restaurants.
Many other guesthouses and shopping possibilities are reached within a few minutes by car.

Arrival either by ferry to Klaipeda (www.lisco.lt) or by plane to Palanga, Kaunus, Vilnus or Liepaja (Lettland approx. 70 km).
