The vacation rental
Three en-suite rooms, one twin and two double all situated on the ground floor with level access from our large car parking area. Barbecue available for guest use, also fridge, microwave and toaster. Secure storage for bikes. Optional evening meal. Relax in a sheltered spot of our large garden in the evening with a meal cooked by us, your own barbecue or a takeaway from Callington just over a mile away. Bring your own wine and beer. The garden backs on to farmland. Tim is famous for his wonderful cooked breakfasts! Relax with a session of therapeutic massage or reflexology in the therapy room situated peacefully in the grounds. Enjoy a walk through meadows along the nearby Lynher river or climb to the Cheesewring standing stones. |

The surrounding area
Situated in lovely countryside on the edge of the Tamar Valley a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor close by. Less than an hour from the Eden Project. North and South coasts equidistant. A more peaceful, undiscovered part of Cornwall. We are close to the Devon / Cornwall border for visitors wishing to explore both counties and are situated about an hour's drive from the M5, so more accessible than many other parts of Cornwall. The nearest city is Plymouth, famous for its maritime history and prestigious new shopping centre.

Fishing available a mile away on the Lynher river. Canooeing on the beautiful river Tamar. Sibleyback Lake for watersports. Famous St Mellion golf course 4 miles away. We have mountain bikes that guests are welcome to borrow. This is a lovely area for walking and we have Ordnance Survey maps for guests to use.

Travel information
Although we are in the countryside there are good roads to many interesting places close by. Several market towns and fishing villages are less than 30 minutes drive away. There is are also good public transport links should guests not wish to drive. |
