	The surrounding area Oberreute is the highest situated village in the Westallgäu, onlay 7 km to the Austrian border, 34 km to the Lake of Constance and 8 km to Oberstaufen, a well-known place with an impressing indoor/outdoor swimming pool. The village of Oberreute has got an outdoor swimming pool, too. You have the possibility to play tennis or go riding. There are two golf areas in the region. Oberreute is an ideal place for hiking round the village or on mountains, or for excursions within the nearer region or to Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, too. In winter cross-country skiing, even beginning from the house; ski-region, sledging.
