Free beach	The surrounding area Donoratico is a little but vivacious village placed in the Castagneto Carducci’s plain. To the east pines and olives trees form endless forests up to the edge of the plain area, and to the west the green of the nature mixes up with the seaside blue: this is “la costa degli Etruschi” The natural paradise in the Maremma is by now a place which is outside modernity and everything comes up to our mind about Tuscany is in front of our eyes: sweet mountains, vineyards, olives groves and countryside villas. Some recommendations from the real experience of the owners.- You can reach in half an hour by car Piombino. And from the Piombino’s harbour you can sail for the Elba island in only 1 hour. -Otherwise you can visit at about 5 miles the Etruscan dead town of Populonia which watches the see of the magnificent Baratti Gulf. Do not forget the long CIPRESSI avenue in Bolgheri, a spectacular landscape which was the heart of the poem „Davanti a San Guido“ written by the prize Nobel Italian poet Carducci.. The next stop for our guest should be in 15 minutes Venturina, well-known for its thermal bath il Calidario One day here will count like a week in paradise But our strongest recommendation is to visit Cala Violina along the way from Follonica up to Punta Ala. Bypassed Puntone you will see at your right a little road losing itself in the countryside. A modern parking placed now disturbs visitors but the coast where you can take a bath after 15 minutes walking is worthwhile this destructive view. In Cala Violina the sand is like a violin and the water so blue that you will think to be in a postal card.

Motorway A1 Bologna-Firenze, get out at Firenze Signa exit, then you take the Pisa-Livorno SGC, Motorway direction Roma-Grosseto, at the end of the motorway in Vada enter the freeway SS1 Nuova Aurelia direction Cecina, and keep this way untill the exit Donoratico.
