The vacation rental
On the ground floor: livingroom and kitchen with dishwasher. DVD-player and CD-player. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Bathroom with shower and bath. On the first floor: 1 double room, 1 bedroom with bunk bed and little room with babybed.
Big sunny garden with terrace, shed and barbecue. Bedlinen and towels you have to bring yourself.

The surrounding area
Centre of the village: 200 metres
Den Helder: 8 kilometres
The historical and cultural heart of Den Helder is the restored dockyard Willemsoord. Here you find the Lifeboatmuseum, the Navymuseum, the lighter Texel, the museum harbour, a big playground, events hall, sports school, bowling centre, gaming-hall and a big cinema.
In Den Helder is also a Japanese garden, the Käthe Kruse Doll- and Toymuseum and the restored Napoleonic fortress Kijkduin with a Northsea aquarium.
Both Den Helder and the ferry to Texel you can easily reach by way of
good walking- and cycle-tracks through the dunes or via the new cycle- and canoe-route.
