The vacation rental
Caserma Carina Country House has been sympathetically divided into 4 luxury air-conditioned apartments retaining many original features by English owners Dean & Lesley who have also made this magnificent 19th century restored house their home. All apartments are spacious, fully equiped and beautifully appointed. Guests will enjoy a private escape with stunning views from the apartments and the immaculately kept landscaped gardens and private 12 x 6 pool. Outdoor dining facilities are provided. The ancient town of Mogliano is only a 15 minute walk (or 2 minutes by car). Whilst Mogliano offers guests all amenities including 3 restaurants it has retained that wonderful traditional feel of a true Marchigiani town. Guests can also enjoy cooking courses at the fantastic local Il Maniero Art Club and Restaurant. Alternatively you can simply have dinner at the restaurant and enjoy the unique experience of being surrounded by art and antiques whilst tasting exquisite local and national cuisine. |

The surrounding area
Less than 40 minutes away are the beaches of the Adriatic coast. Marche's coastline offers some stunning scenery such as the Monte Conero nature reserve with its high cliffs (offering 18 walks) and pretty beaches. Porto San Giorgo, a pretty medieval fishing town with sandy beaches, amazing fish restaurants and a lovely marina. The Sibillini Mountains, where guests can enjoy all year round activities including skiing and walking are only 40 minutes away. The Monti Sibillini National Park is a nature reserve covering an area of 60,000 hectares. The historic city of Macerata is 20 mins away and hosts the 2nd largest open air opera festival in Italy during July and August. The ancient cities of Urbino and Ascoli Piceno are also easily reached.
