	The vacation rental Mild southern nights, fragrance of orange blossoms, white villages, beautiful flowers in tropical gardens and last but not least a deep blue Mediterranean sea - that´s how we imagine Andalucia in our latitudes – and that´s how we experience it in reality. The beautifully situated vacation villa in the Sierra near the coast - with a total panoramic view to the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains - is unique. Despite of the 4-5 kms distance as the crow flies it feels that one can almost touch the Mediterranean. The plot offers you a terracotta tiled plateau with a vacation house of 111 sqms and covered 4x7 m pool, which invites you to swimming also in the winter season. In the summer the cover can easily be pushed aside. The house – with elevated furnishings - provides 2 bedrooms. 2 baths and a living room with a large open kitchen. In the round living room you´ll find an Andalusian fireplace and plenty of convenient seats in a nice ambience. The spacious terraces, the large house and the two bathrooms make your stay comfortable even for a larger number of persons. You will remember your holiday in that nice vacation villa surrounded by mediterranean plants for a long time for good.
	The surrounding area Embedded in the hills of the Sierra Almijara the small “White Village” Sayalonga is situated not far from the beaches and the seaside. Sayalonga is the perfect mix of fast access to the vibrant Costa del Sol and the live in the idyllic hinterland. The most frequent visitor to the Costa del Sol is the sun himself. The sun sends his glaring light to this part of the Maditerranean coast 320 days a year. On the other hand a slight breeze from the sea brings gentle cooling and hence creates an ideal climate for a sunny holiday at almost every season. Besides the cultural aspects Andalucia has many faces- endless olive groves and sunflower fields, lagoons crowded by flamingos, sun-burnt grass lands and right in the middle the high mountains, the Sierra Nevada. Here in the hinterland where you can visit vinyards and olive groves, where almond, lemon and orange trees and other tropical plants grow, Andalucia is still Andalusian. Pittoresque white villages, narrow lanes and authentic bars, farmers with mules, a flock of goats is on its way onto the hillslopes accompanied by the sound of their bells- all that appears to be a postcard idyll, but is reality here. A well-furnished vacation villa with beautiful andalucian ambience. The pool (4x7m) with cover for the winter is suitable for swimming at any season, the water temperature is above 22° C nearly all the time. Shopping can be done at Sayalonga village, very large supermarkets and shopping malls can be found at the next highway exit. A car is absolutely necessary. You can reach Casa Almendros over a 3 km long, partly concrete, firm sand track which regularly is well accessible day and night (3 kms, 10 mins by car) from Sayalonga. The track leads back to the coast so that the house is much nearer to the coast than the village Sayalonga. On the 20 minutes drive to the highway some a little bit rough passages can be found (900 mts dirt track. Regularly a normal rental car or your own car with a normal ground clearance is appropriate for this way.
	Activities You can find long sandy beaches directly at the coast of Algarrobo (approx. 20 min by car). Nice natural beaches can be reached in a 35 mins. drive from Sayalonga between Nerja and La Herradura. The wine village Cómpeta an the wine routes in the hinterland are only two possibilities to discover the true Andalucia. Day trips will lead you to Sevilla and Córdoba (either 4 or 2,5 h drive by car). The largest olive groves of Europe are situated between Malaga and Córdoba. An impressive trip to the Sierra Nevada and to the Alhambra of Granada passes the well-known Alpujarras. The total opposite is the tour Marbella via the society harbour of Puerto Banus and to Ronda with its historical bridge and the oldest bullring of Spain. Other highlights are located not far from your vacation domicile. The historical centre of Nerja, the famous “Balcon de Europa” and the caves, the “Cuevas de Nerja” (30 min. drive). There is a vast number of hiking trails on the coast and in the hinterland. Other:	The house is not totaly isolated, there are two neighbouring vacation villas. Comforts like two covered terraces (on clear days views over the bay of Malaga, to Gibraltar and the Atlas muntains in Africa), covered pool-illumination at night-, 2 bathrooms (one of them with tub and bidet), satellite TV (mostly German, some English channels), videorecorder, stereo system with CD, additional radio-recorder for the pool range, refrigerators and large separate deep freezer, dish-washer, microwave oven, baking oven, puree stick, water cooker, etc.; washing machine, ironing plate, iron, electro and gas heating, vaccum cleaner, moscito net for allergic persons, a large number of garden furniture are provided. You can seperate the beds in one of the bedrooms. The house hase two refrigerators. There is a contact person for the keys and for emergencies.
