Apartment Stass	The vacation rental Brand new 30 m2 Studio apartment furnished to a high standard, which has a separate enclosed bedroom, for added privacy, with a double bed, there is also a double sofa bed in the living area. The apartment is on the second floor with elevator access. We can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children in comfortable settings with views of the Dachstein Glacier in Winter. Bathroom with wc, shower, sink, hair dryer Kitchen with electric hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, egg cooker. Schladming main street	The surrounding area Mile long slopes and beautiful cross-country trails are waiting for you in and around Schladming-Rohrmos, this family friendly resort in the Dachstein-Tauern-Region, is one of the biggest ski-regions in Austria. It´s known very well even outside Austria because of the international FIS world cup-races held here every year. The Salzburger Ski Armade lift pass covers 850km's of piste, with the 4 local ski mountains in the Dachstein-Tauern-Region, (Planai, Hauser Kaibling Hochwurzen and Reiteralm) offering 167 slope-kilometers and 90 ski-lifts, as well as snow sure slopes on the Dachstein Glacier. All Nordic wintersports are available on the Ramsau plateau. There are also 2 floodlit toboggan runs locally and plenty of restaurants and bars in Schladming and the surrounding villages. Heavy investment in snow cannons and excellent piste management ensures the slopes remain snowsure, and in excellent condition all through the winter season Summer activities include golf (an excellent 18 hole golf course is just a 10 minute drive), walking/hiking, horse riding, swimming, horse and cart rides, 7 km mountain go-kart track, paragliding, river rafting, canyoning, and climbing on the nearby Dachstein for all abilities; Nordic walking or running with 8 special courses in Ramsau; mountain biking on many mountain trails our the immediate area, as well as the special mountain bike course on the Planai used by the ‘Mountain Biking World Cup’ in Schladming every summer. There are also numerous bathing lakes and beaches nearby.The historic city of Salzburg, and its famous lakes, is only 50 minutes away by car or train.
Winter walking	Activities White water rafting on the river Enns and mountain biking trails on the Planai are available in summer. In winter there are lots of cleared footpaths for winter walks, 2 floodlit toboggan tracks of 5 km and 7 km in length on local mountains with restaurants en route. Glacial walks with or without guide. Other:	This is a brand new apartment for 2008 that is fully equiped for 4 people. Schladming has a traffic free pedstrian zone in the centre of the town with several shops, banks, post office and hotels / restaurants. There is a indoor/ outdoor heating swimming pool close to the apartment, and a sports centre with tennis hall. There are lots of mountain restaurants on the slopes, including a pizzeria in the Schafalm at the top of the Planai. The gondola runs until 7.30pm on Wednesday evening

Travel information

From Germany via Salzburg to Radstadt on the autobahn (A 10), then 18 km along the main highway (B 320) to Schladming. From Vienna in the direction of Linz as far as Amstetten via the Westautobahn, then on the Pyhrn Autobahn to Liezen, followed by 50 km on the B 320 to Schladming. From Vienna on the autobahn to Semmering, then via the expressway and autobahn to Liezen, followed by 50 km on the B 320 as far as Schladming. Salzburg airport is served by several low cost airlines including, Ryanair, Thomson Fly, Flybe, as well as charter flights from UK, Germany, Netherlands and the Skandinavian countries during the ski season. A trolley bus runs from the airport to Salzburg main railway station every ten minutes in the daytime. It is approximately 1 hour by train to Schladming from Salzburg and the route is very picturesque. There is no need for a car in resort, and the ski buses run to all the local mountains as well as the glacier, and they are all free with your ski pass.
