The vacation rental
La Fermette: Small cottage (traditional build in schist), about 28 m², to hire throughout the year for two persons (and a baby) – situated as an independent part of our farmhouse.
Ground floor with equipped kitchen and wood-burning stove. A ladder brings you to the sleeping-room with a french bed (1,40 m x 2,00 m) and a small couch (or a bed for a baby). Private terrace with garden furniture.
For our guests we have a common bathhouse with a shower- room and a separate compost-toilet. |

The surrounding area
Durantis is situated at a lovely southern hillside with a panoramic view. It’s silent, sunny and isolated at an altitude of 580 meters. Although the climate is mediterranean.
Our farmhouse, near the Parc National des Cévennes, is a good departure for walking tours for example along the sentier en pays cevenol (GR 67) or at the chemin de Stevenson in direction of the neighbour Vallée Française. There are promenades to nice swimming-places in the clear river Gardon in our valley.
You will have a magnificent view over the range of hills called Corniche des Cévennes and at the Mont Aigoual.

We cultivate our fruits, vegetables and chestnuts and breed our sheeps under regard of the conditions for organic farming. You can buy our products on our farm.
We have restored our farmhouse and the cottages with natural and traditional materials.
