Brunbrae Holidays - cottage Begrum	The vacation rental Each cottage is on one level, spacious and generously equipped to a high standard. Each has kitchen, living room with TV, DVD, music centre and a log fire, bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, conservatory & patio. Electrical heating throughout. The large garden stocked with a delightful array of shrubs and plants overlooks fields, river and Cheviot Hills. Suitable for residents with mobility difficulties. Unloading close to cottage entrance. Dogs welcome in one cottage, the other two are pet-free. High chair and travel cot available free of charge. Cottage Thairn	The surrounding area The cottages are situated in a peaceful, secluded setting with wonderful views yet just 5km from Kelso with its splendid square, abbey ruins and a wide variety of shops and places to eat. Within 40 minutes drive of Edinburgh, east-coast fishing villages, superb coastal scenery, Borders towns, Northumberland, and the Cheviot & Ettrick Hills. Ideally situated for visiting a wealth of abbeys, gardens and stately homes, (Floors Castle and Mellerstain House both nearby). Explore on foot, cycle, horseback or car, visit local craftworkers and artists, go fishing, mountain biking, play golf or simply relax and watch the wildlife. There is so much to do - you will be planning your return visit as you leave!
Cottage Thairn	Activities You are welcome to walk in our 12 ha. of fields and there are longer walks directly from Burnbrae. Textile Art workshops are held in our studio at Burnbrae with world renowned visiting tutors. Look at the Workshop programme page on our website for details.
