Small holiday facility in Walkenried in the sunny southern Harz with a large garden. 9 holiday flats of different sizes for 2 to 6 people in a quiet, but central area (blind alley).
All holiday flats have 2 bedrooms and are completely equipped (with dishwasher and microwave in flat type C and D).

Location and surroundings
Walkenried is a health resort with particularly good air and has 2,800 inhabitants. It is located in the southern part of the Harz and 5 min. away from Bad Sachsa, 15 min. from Bad Lauterberg and 20 min. from Braunlage.
Walkenried is well-known for its cistercians monastery and set amidst an unspoiled nature, a jewel among the places in the Harz. This is an ideal starting point for day trips and trips to the surrounding area.
Always worth a trip are the mining museums, natural monuments, old towns with timber-framed houses, the narrow gauge railway and much more.

Further activities
You can hike through the Harz without leaving the woods.
Swimming in nature, in our pond as well as in one of the waterparks of the area. Ice-skating is even possible in summer. Other possibilities are cycling, riding and tennis (150 mtr. distance).
There are interesting cultural events in the monastery.
Starting from here, you can reach all sights for tourists in the Harz and its surrounding as there are mines, dripstone caves, castles, ruines and monuments. Pool and massage parlour next door.

Arrival
By car: driving south on the A7, exit Seesen.
Coming from west or south on A7, take exit Göttingen Nord.
Continue towards Herzberg, Bad Sachsa, Walkenried.
Coming from east on A38, towards Nordhausen, Walkenried.
In Walkenried, continue towards the Kloster (monastery) until you reach Mühlplatz 3. We will pick you up here and take you to your holiday flat.
