The Holiday House
In the small village Sanguineto, where in that days Hannibal defeated the Romans, this once Etruscan watchtower is thanks to careful restauration and modern structure an ideal holidays domicile with unique charm for 2 persons. The upstream plain with Olive trees and fields was once location of the battle between Hannibal and the Romans.
It´s splendid to sit outside on it´s own roofed verandah with the view over the Trasimeno. The swimmingpool for common use with the 6 apartements "Sanguineto" caters for perfect cooling down in summer. La Torretta stands alone. Enjoy the beauty of the natur, die wonderfaul atmosphere in a region, where the nature ist always green, enchanting and shiny.

Smooth green hills, fascinating panorama, harmony and silence; ancient mediaval little towns mit historic hearts, rich of history and culture, where one can experience still the mediaval atmosphere; the silence of the forests with attractive and lonesome lookouts, where one can look from the heights of the hills down to waters, trees and meadows as if it is like a painting. It was also once the route of old masters: "Perugino", teacher of Raffael, was inspired by the Trasimeno for his paintings.
Cultural events of international reputation like Umbria Jazz/Perugia, the Trasimano Music Festival/Magione (Angela Hewitt), Trasimeno Blues Festival, or Festival dei Due Mondi/Spoleto. Umbria is inspiration and experience with all five senses.
