The Holiday Apartment

Our holiday rental Cottage-Waldesruh is located at the outskirts of Oberkreuzberg 735 mtr. above sea level and with view to the Rachel and the Alps (provided that the weather is good!).

The holiday flat has 2 bedrooms with panoramic windows (very comfortable beds), comfortable living room, a separate, completely equipped kitchen with corner bench, bathroom, hallway and floor heating. Living room and kitchen of the holiday flat have access to the sunny, south-facing balcony!

You have your own telephone in the holiday flat. National calls are free of charge.

Our guests are welcome to use the terrace and lawn with garden furniture, table tennis and barbecue.

We rent a toboggan in winter on request.

We serve coffee and cake at your arrival.

Location and surroundings

Welcome in the Bavarian Forest!

Fantastic hiking and cycling trails start right at the holiday property and lead to the picturesque landscape of the Bavarian Forest.

Bakery, a bus stop, cross-country ski run and tobogganing run are nearby and can be reached on foot. Your car can make holiday, too, since the Igelbus and the Waldbahn take you for free to the following starting points and sights:
the Rachel (1,452 mtr. above sea level), the Lusen (1,373 mtr. above sea level), the longest tree top trail, safari park, open-air exhibition etc.

We also recommend trips to the Steinklamm, Passau with the largest organ in the world, Czech Republic and Prague.

Guided cycling and mountain bike tours are offered.

In winter, we recommend our cross-country ski runs and the tobogganing run.

Take the autobahn Nuremberg-Passau
a) exit Deggendorf via Regen to exit Eppenschlag towards Spiegelau/Oberkreuzberg
b) exit Hengersberg towards Grafenau to the B 85 towards Regen, after approx. 1 km you need to turn right and left again at the next junction to Oberkreuzberg with tower. Please follow the signs.

   So very German! Lovely family, lots of information in apartment. Spotless. Bakery in village and 2 nice restaurants. Easy to do the sights. Ideal spot for a quiet time. Internet available in tourist office.
