The Holiday Apartment

In the back of the garden of a beautiful original farmhouse lies a barn.

The first floor has been reconstructed into an apartment with 3 bedrooms (one with double bed, 2 with two single beds), a separate kitchen with kitchen equipment, bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin, a livingroom with dining table and radioset including CD player and a plug-in for a memory stick and CDs to play. Outside is a parking space and a terrace on the south side.

To privode more comfort, we have built a balcony at the south/westside of the appartment which you can enter from the livingroom. Here you can enjoy the sunny days!

Children can play in a little adventurous playfield or play on the water in a boat.

We can also offer you three rooms for B&B + a separate breakfast/sittingroom at the price of € 25,-p.p.p.n

Special features

For small children are bed, bath, chair, etc. available. Due to the central heating system, you can also stay in the winter. Train stations are nearby so it's easy to travel anywhere in Holland.
There are bikes to rent.

Additional amenities

Bring your own towels, they are not included. The beds and everything else are ready for using. Our summerhouse contains a babybed-bad, a highchair and a play pen. During the year at colder periods the central heating makes your staying comfortable.

Location and surroundings

This appartment lies in a quiet village “Sint Pancras”. In this village are a few shops where you can do your daily shopping. In the vicinity you’ll find an old city ‘Alkmaar’ (3 km) with the famous cheesemarket, and lots of beautiful old villages around.

Lovely cycle- and walking paths in various landscape. Nearby a lake (3 km), the sea and sand dunes and woods (15 km), and also a famous mtb-track with the possibility to rent a mountainbike in the near by village Bergen.

In an other village (Egmond ad Hoef) You'l find the possibillity to rent a horse and ride in the woods and the dunes. The isle ‘Texel’ is reachable by car or train and ferry.

From Amsterdam: Take the A9 to Alkmaar. At Alkmaar follow the direction of Den Helder/ Schagen (N245) turn off by the second sign Sint Pancras and follow your way to Benedenweg 10. We have a welcome B&B sign at the road,easy to find!

   Ich war dieses Wochenende nur mit Billiard spielen beschäftigt also von der Umgebung habe ich nicht viel mitbekommen.
   
   Als Sportler ist meistens Ruhe ein wichtiges Thema und die Nahrung. Klar muss man auch seine eigenen Leistung abrufen.
   Ich habe diese Wochenende einiges über mich selbst gelernt da ich unbesiegt den Titel geholt habe mit für meine Begriffe einem Superspiel.
   
   Da hat auch sicher die Betreuung von Jac & Sita eine rolle gespielt. Immer freundlich. Essen war super. Wenn man eine Frage hatte: "Kein Problem. Wird erledigt!"
   
   Mann fühlt sich einfach zu Hause.

   Wir haben mit unseren Kindern (9, 10 und 12 Jahre) eine sehr angenehme und erlebnisreiche erste Aprilwoche in ihrer gemütlichen und sehr schön gelegenen Ferienwohnung verbracht.
   
   Da sich diese Ferienwohnung in einem ansonsten unbewohnten Haus mit Garten befindet, ist sie auch Familien mit etwas lebhafteren Kindern :) sehr zu empfehlen.
   
   Von hier aus haben wir sehr schöne Radtouren gemacht. Unsere beiden Tagestouren nach Amsterdam haben wir mit dem Zug vom Alkmaarer Hauptbahnhof aus unternommen. Dies ist sehr zu empfehlen, da man so schnell und bequem direkt ins Zentrum der -übrigens auch für Kinder- sehr sehenswerten Stadt gelangt.
   
   Die Dünenlandschaft zwischen Bergen und Bergen aan Zee haben wir auf einer Wanderung kennen gelernt, die uns als Naturliebhabern großen Spaß bereitet hat.

3. Sehr ruhig gelegene große Ferienwohnung

   Wir waren 1 Woche dort. Sehr schön und ruhig gelegen.
   Großer Balkon, für uns zwei Personen hatten wir sehr viel Platz.
   
   Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet.
   Besonders waren die Aufmerksamkeiten in der Wohnung bei unserer Ankunft. Tulpenstrauss auf dem Esstich. Schön
   geschmückter Osterstrauss im Wohnzimmer und ein Korb mit Schokoladeneiern.
   
   Haben viele Ausflüge gemacht z.B.nach Amsterdam, Den Helder (sehr schöne Museen), Alkmaar. Besonders waren die Bootsfahrten durch die Grachten in Amsterdam und Alkmaar.
   Zum Einkaufen sind es auch nur ein paar hundert Meter.
   Diese Wohnung können wir nur weiterempfehlen.

   Für unseren Urlaub die perfekte Ausgangsbasis. Sehr ruhig gelegen und doch zentral. Wir haben diese Wohnung mit 2 Pärchen genutzt. Die Ausstattung ist volkommen ausreichend. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr schöne Terasse, mit der Abendsonne allerbestens. Sehr freundlicher Empfang von Sita und Jack, der Familie Wagenaar Tomaten aus dem eigenen Gewächshaus). Alles was man zum leben braucht bekommt man in der nähe. Ein großer Supermarkt ist ein paar Minuten entfernt. Von der Wohnung aus kann man ganz Nordholland erkunden. Wir waren z. B. auf Texel (Ecomare, die Seehundstation), Beverwijk mit dem größten Basar Hollands oder auch das Ijsselmeer mit Horn, Medenblick oder die Landesinnere Seite mit Hindeloopen und Workum. Wir haben uns bestens wohlgefühlt. Also werden wir wohl wiederkommen.
