Farmhouse	The vacation rental “De Nieuwe Tijd” is a strongly built farmhouse in the centre of the polder Wieringermeer. The image is strongly determined by agricultural activities: in spring many flower fields, in summer cereals, beets, potatoes, carrots and onions. The location is very well suited for a stay of several days . In the farmhouse are 6 bedrooms, all provided with independent sanitary fittings ( shower, toilet and wash-basin) and central heating, with a view on a beautiful garden. There are also a breakfast room a community hut with television, minibar and games. The farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden ( 1 ha) with a pound , various paths and terraces where you can relax between the chicken and ducks. There is a playground for the children and eventually they can ride the pony’s. There are stables for horses and pony’s which are trained in the evening.
Garden	The surrounding area The environment is very well suited for trips by car, bike or by foot -Walking or biking to Robbenbos/Dijkgatbos or the isle of Wieringen -Sailing on the Waddenzee – wading in the mud-flats – watching the seals -Visit the Afsluitdijk – IJsselmeer or Northsea beach -Visit Medemblik – Hoorn – Enhuizen -Visit Amsterdam ( abt. 50 km) -Visit Schagen – Alkmaar -Visit Den Oever – Texel Please refer also to our programm for the daily excursions by car.
