The vacation rental
We have one 2 person, one three person and three four person cottages, either with showers or baths. They are situated on a Non-working farm of 12 acres (5 hectacres) in a glorious location with views in all directions. They are not remote, being only 350 yards from the nearest village and pub, and one mile away from the next village. |

The surrounding area
The principal attractions of the Peak District are walking and cycling. There are endless possiblities for both, with footpaths from our doorstep and three cycle trails of about 15 miles in length all within 3 miles. Our land is surrounded by a nature reserve through which a footpath runs and after less than 2 km, you reach the River Dove. One Mile downstream is the most famous area of the Peak District, Dovedale, where the early victorian tourists first visited.
There are numerous villages in the area, England's largest them park - Alton Towers - and several stately homes, in particular Chatsworth one of Englands 'big three'.
There is more to do and see within 30 minutes drive than anywhere else in the UK
