The vacation rental
The Villa accommodates 6 people in 3 spacious bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin ) One bedroom is ensuite and there is a seperate bathroom.
The fully fitted kitchen and the Lounge/Diner is separated by an American arched breakfast bar and both are cooled by overhead ceiling fans.There is a cosy log burning stove in the Lounge for those cooler out of season nights.
It has its own private 8m x 3m pool
with ample space to lounge in the sun
or relax and drink ice cold drinks in the shade of the covered porch.
Standing in its own one acre plot the villa is surrounded by fig almond and olive trees and it is possible at the right time of year to pick and eat the grapes that grow on the gentle slopes that arround the villa. |

The surrounding area
A 3km 5 minute drive will take you to the nearest village Archez where you will find a small supermarket, bars and several good restaurants.
A 10 minute drive will take you to the small whitewashed town of Competa which nestles into the hillside below the Sierra Almijara.
It is said to be one of Spains best kept secrets offering 300 days a year sunshine, magnificent views and the friendly hospitality of the local people.
An active agricultural town, Competa is steeped in history dating back to the Moors and this is reflected in the whitewashed houses and the narrow winding streets with something different around every corner.
Competa has a little of everything, Restaurants , Shops, Banks, Supermarkets and even its own Saturday market.

Special characteristics
The Mediteranean coastal resorts of Nerja, Torrox and Torre del Mar are only a short drive away and offer sunbathing, swimming and watersports on relatively uncrowded sand and pebble beaches. Baviera golf club is a 25 minute drive from Villa Miba.
