Location and surroundings
The place is peaceful and located in Trastevere are, in a quiet and picturesque alley climbing the Gianicolo Hill, well known for its wonderful view of Rome.
On the same side of the Tevere, St. Peter's and Sant'Angelo Castle are actually a few hundred mt. away.
If you cross the river through the "Principe Amedeo Aosta" bridge, a five minutes walk leads you to "via Giulia" or "via dei Coronari" streets, celebrated for their antique shops and fine arts exihibitions, where you run across some of the most important monuments of the Reinassance.
