The Guesthouse
Our hospitably managed guesthouse (no apartments!) is peacefully situated near the woods, about 350m above sea level with view of the Rhön Mountains.
Our guesthouse offers free WLAN access in all the rooms. The tastefully decorated rooms are furnished with so called box spring beds (mattress on a mattress), two chairs, table and telephone. Every room has its own shower and toilet. Shower gel and soap are available. Hairdryer on request.
For the entertainment we have arranged a television with satellite, a radio with CD player and a VHS player. Movies about the region Rhön, games and many books are waiting for you as well.

In 1991 UNESCO declared the Rhön a Biosphere Reserve because of its unique high-altitude ecosystem. Rhön is a low mountain range with volcanic origins at the heart of Germany, at the border triangle of Hesse - Bavaria - Thuringia. There are not only geological, but also zoological and phytosociological reasons for Rhön to be one of Germany's most remarkable low mountain ranges. As the peaks are not forested, Rhön is called the "land of open spaces" (Land der offenen Fernen).

by Nadine Lemmich from ZellingenWir waren vom 31.12.08 bis 04.01.09 Gäste bei der Familie Schimmelpfennig. Wir können das Gästehaus "Hochrhönblick" nur jedem weiter empfehlen! Das Frühstück war bombastisch, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Zimmer und das Haus sind sehr sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen und wir fahren auf jeden fall nochmal dort hin! Hier kann man sich wirklich erholen!!!

Hallo Frau Lemmich,
es freut uns sehr, dass Ihnen und Ihren 7 Freunden die Jahreswende 08/09 bei uns gefallen hat. Sie waren auch sehr nette und pflegeleichte Gäste.
Wir bedanken uns auch für die Weiterempfehlung - auch diese Gäste haben die Jahreswende (09/10) bei uns gefeiert und waren sehr zufrieden.
Mittlerweile hat sich noch einiges geändert - in jedem Zimmer ist nun ein SAT-TV (Flachbildschirm) und in jedem Bad ein Hotelfön.
