Verchen near Lake Kummerow	The vacation rental Towards the end of 2003, we opened a children and youth hotel near Lake Kummerow in Verchen, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The building was built in 1754 on the rests of a monetary originally built in the 13th century. It was supposed to be a castle with an official office and was restored 2003 by us. It presents itself today as a modern and youth suitable as well as child-friendly hotel in a bright and merry outfit. In May 2005 our second building, the brewery, was opened after a thorough renovation. Our attractive leisure facilities in and around the buildings are new.
The hotel is set in a pretty park	The surrounding area Verchen is a little historical fisherman's village near Lake Kummerow. The lake offers bathing fun with a lot of different water sport activities. Well built walking and cycling tracks/paths. The Peene “the Amazonas of the North, flows not far from the village; ideal for a short beaver safari in the canoe. In the village are a few restaurants with local cuisine, especially with sea food. A country market offers goods for the daily use. Monastery church from the 13 th century. Aalbude with ferry and restaurant. The word "Switzerland" stands for the outstanding natural beauty which you can find here in galore. The landscape is filled with lakes and hills. No matter where you are, you will find deep forests with lower moor areas. The world is here still in order.
