Casa Chantal is located in a quiet area crossed by a countryside road with very little traffic in the middle of the village of Leontica in the Blenio Valley.

In Leontica village there are 2 restaurants: Ristorante Centrale and Ristorante Gianora where they have "ticinese cuisine" and it also is a pizzeria.

Special features

Discover the various museums, historical churches, the Castle of Serravalle and in Biasca the famous fortress of the Second World War (1939-1945) with exposure of different weapons.

Location and surroundings

Wonderful area for pleasant walks in the nature with breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains on an elevation between 900 and 2200 meters.
For experienced climbers it's possible to reach the Adula glacier (elevation 3403 m) the highest peak in Ticino.

Beautiful area for mountain-bike excursions. For the more trained, it's possible to reach the Lucomagno Pass (elevation 1916 m) by racing bike.

Leontica is an excellent base point for practicing “bouldering” in
Cresciano and Chironico.
Another sport: “canyoning” that is practiced in Blenio and Riviera Valley.

   Schön hatten wir es in dieser gemütlichen Wohnung; selten hatten wir eine so perfekt eingerichtete Wochnung vorgefunden.
   Das Wetter war herrlich, fast eitel Sonnenschein und angenehm warm. Die täglichen Wanderungen auf markierten und unmarkierten Wegen, auf der rechten und linken Talseite und am Lukmanierpass liessen unsere Herzen höhren schlagen. Wir fanden Baumnüsse, suchten Kastanien zum Braten und genossen alle Tage in vollen Zügen.

   Nach unserem letztem Urlaub in Casa Chantal in Leontica (Bleniotal) vom 11. bis 18. Juli 2009, sind wir wieder vom 3. bis 17. September 2011 zurückgekehrt weil vor allem uns die schöne, komfortable, gemütliche und sehr gut ausgestattete Casa Chantal gefallt hat und unsere Ferien nochmals verbracht, wo nichts aus dem Zufall überlassen wurde, alles war perfekt! Wir danken nochmals Herr Rossi für die freundliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir möchten auch außerdem unterstreichen die günstige Preisen die Herr Rossi an seine Kunden anbietet.
