90sqm/1000sqft 2nd floor apt, full AC, blackout curtains. Breakfast balcony off living room, private roof terrace (loungers, table, chairs, sun umbrella, gas BBQ, sea view). Openplan lounge, dining. Two bedrooms, one double, one twin. Sofa-bed, campbed, travel-cot, high chair provided FOC.
Fully equipped for 6 guests (incl washing machine, dishwasher). Sky TV, CD/DVD player, WiFi Internet free at Reception. Full AC in Bedrooms, living area. Apt fully tiled, blackout curtains. Safe, free parking on complex (largely pedestrianised). Bedlinen, towels changed and apt cleaned each 6-8 days; intermediate cleaning an option.
Discount 20% Sept to June for party of 2, 10% for three.

Special features

You have direct express bus connections to Seville (90 nins drive) and Lisbon. There are river cruises from Villa Real d Sto Antonio (~20km) to visit the old walled towns of the Guadiana Valley. A commuter train connects with the coastal towns.

Location and surroundings

The apartment is in Tavira town, in the Tavira Garden holiday complex, and sleeps 2 to 6 guests. The complex is 1km (15 minutes walk) from the old Roman bridge usually regarded as the centre point of the old town. There are seven golf courses within 5 to 25 minutes drive while the beautiful white uncrowded beaches of Tavira Island (Ilha da Tavira) beckon the sunworshipper. On the complex itself you have two adult pools (one of 25m length) and two kids pools. There is also bar/restaurant (and a poolside Caribbean bar), tennis, gym, kids play areas, BBQ's, etc. You have a supermarket at 300m and a large shopping centre at 750m. The Ria Formosa nature Park surrounds Tavira and the walled towns of the Guadiana valley are 30 min drive away.

There is a secluded nudist beach on Tavira Island. The local town council organise many live entertainments, fairs, exhibitions, shows, folk music and dancing, street theatre, balloon races, a film festival, etc, throughout the summer. You can go wandering or cycling in the Rio Formosa Nature Park, go fishing, take boatrides, etc.
