Nice, quiet complex with community pool.
Two bedroom ground floor apartment, fully equipped, incluiding:
Electric oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, pots and pans.
Washing machine, ironing board and iron.
Sitting-dining room, 2 comfortable settees, a T.V with 6 Europe channels.
Dining table 4 chairs and sideboard.
One bedroom with 2 single beds and the other with double-bed. Bed linen available.
Bathroom-bidet and bath with shower. Towels available.
There is a nice little patio, where a washing-machine is fitted. And there´s also an electric water heater and a portable barbecue.
Also a front garden with table and 4 chairs.
There are bars, chemist, baker, newsagent and a supermarket within a 5 minute walk.
Well communicated by both train and buses.
A 5 minutes drive from Cartagena city and 15 minutes to La Manga beach.
Distances to airports:
Murcia San Javier: 15 minutes.
Alicante: 1 hour. |

The surrounding area
The town´s history is and interest in its self.
It´s related to the mining activity.
The romans were well aware of the treasure´rs thet were hidden in the mountains such as silver, zinc and pewter.
The mining activity stopped in the 90´s leaving behind unique, strange and yet beautiful scenery.
La Unión is well know for it´s international “cante de las minas”, an event wich takes place every year in august.
It bring´s together the best “cantaores del flamenco”, (flamenco singers). We are also able to enjoy the fresh and promising new singers.
Another unique attraction is the old market built in 1907, and all it´s intricate work can still be admired.
It´s now used for different events and especially for “el festival del cante de las minas”.
