The vacation rental
The vacation park Himmelberg is located on the place edge of Thalfang. The Idar at a terraced slope plant between trees and bushes embedded with a view of the place Thalfang and the mountains and the vacation houses "Erbeskopf" built in the Swiss log-cabin style lie, Soonwaldes. The surrounding area
The Erbeskopf, highest elevation in the Hunsrück (818 m), offers excellent, natural history exhibitions besides winter sports possibilities (cross-country skiing cross-country ski runs, ski and toboggan runs) in the new Hunsrück house.
The marvelously situated wine cultivable areas to Moselle, Saar, Ruwer and near offer their services as destinations of the outing. France, Luxembourg and Belgium aren't far away.
You find the greatest European airplane exhibition as well as a very interesting steam engine exhibition in Hermeskeil (10 km). The German precious stone museum lures in Idar top stone and a detailed town inspection Trier (the oldest town in Germany) is one on the other side must. The famous wine places at the Moselle, like new stomach, Bernkastel-Kues and Zell lie availably near.
Thalfang is the ideal location in the cleanest air of Germany for interesting discoveries and inspections for wonderful walks, many sports possibilities and primarily quiet and relaxation. You will see, it is worthwhile to go to the Hunsrück.
