From the ruins of an old stone house lovingly rebuilt, the Casa Atlantis is situated above the village, with a fantastic view to the Atlantic Ocean, surrounded only by forests and meadows. Almost one metre thick stone walls and high, wooden ceiling creating even on hot summer days a pleasant room climate and give the apartment a cozy rustic flair. A large, beautiful garden frames the house, and invites you to play and enjoy your holidays at this unique place. |

The surrounding area
From the house there is a hiking trail to the crater and the magical crater lakes of Sete Cidades. For the picturesque cliffs, it takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk, to the village with a supermarket and snack bar you walk 5 to 10 min. Not far away a fisher-village with a pretty beach (Mosteiros), hot springs in the sea ... on the island, there are many beautiful places, a lush subtropical nature and friendly, lively villages and towns.
Many sports and recreational opportunities exist in the vicinity, you can make great hiking, biking, golfing, fishing, all types of water sports... Spectacular are the hot springs on the island, the crater lakes, the beaches pretty small ... Casa Atlantis is the ideal place to relax and to 'discover' the island.
