The forester`s lodge is located in the middle of the woods. At the Stettiner Haff (2,5 km from the apartment) you will find opportunities for fishing, sailing and swimming.
The island Usedom has a good network of bikways wich starts right at the forester`s lodge. Its about 11km to the city of Usedom.
In the vicinity are numerous excursion destinations. Some of them you can reach by foot.

Arrival
After you reached the City Usedom you have to continue to Stolpe. Follow the street til you reach a green place-name sign "Prätenow". A 100m further you´ll see thre mailboxes on the left side. Turn left here and follow the dirt road about 1,5 km straight into the woods. It ends at your destination.

Urlaub im Forsthaus Waschensee

by Christine Burmeister from ScheeßelWir haben im Juni 2008 unseren Urlaub bei der Familie Rothe im Forsthaus verbracht.
Eine herrliche Ruhe, eine liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung und sehr herzliche und tierliebe Gastgeber haben uns eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche erleben lassen. Wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt, ist hier goldrichtig aufgehoben. Dafür haben wir gerne die paar Kilometer zu den Sandstränden der Ostsee in Kauf genommen.
