The surrounding area
Kempen (120 inhabitants) is part of the Horn Bad Meinberg (18000 inhabitants), Kempen lies immediately in the high-lying valley of the harrowing mountains adjacently to the Teutoburger woods. Woods 100 m, good walking possibilities on ways and made up paths. The quiet location, at the same time central are located stress to the larger cities of Detmold (18 km) and Paderborn (18 km.) A camping site, a tractor museum and a pub also belong to the city.
