View of house	The vacation rental The apartment is on the lower ground floor, giving directly onto the garden. Renovated 7 years ago, it has a parquet floor. It has many large panoramic windows, and is full of light. Although quite close to the centre, it is very quiet. You may park your car about 20 meters from the house, or if coming by train, it is 5 to 10 minutes walk from the station, depending on which way you take. (Road- 10 minutes, path - 5 minutes).
View from the apartment	The surrounding area Situated in a mountainous rural area, in a region where people go for walks, whether a short walk, or a day long hike, or a climbing tour. You can visit the summit viewpoint Brienzer Rothorn either by foot, or with the quaint steam train (only in summer). The lake invites you for a refreshing swim. In summer there is a music festival in Meiringen, which also has an indoor tennis hall.

There is a tennis court 5 minutes from the house, as well as an indoor tennis centre in Meiringen. Also an archery field in close proximity if you have a car.
