Our vacation apartment with 3 rooms is very peacefully situated in a 200 year old Bernese farm house above the village Signau at a height of 870 m. From the fully renovated (2007) vacation apartment you have a wonderful view over the hills of the Emmental valley into the Napf region. The Emmental valley, with its hilly landscape, is a perfect region for biking, hiking und walking. Signau is situated inbetween Bern and Lucerne and can be reached from all directions by train or by car. The Bernese Oberland is reachable within an hour.

schon bei unserer Ankunft konnte man die Wärme und Herzlichkeit in euren Herzen deutlich spüren und es viel uns sehr leicht eine spontane Geborgenheit zu empfinden. Ihr habt alles richtig gemacht! Habt einen Ort der Erholung geschaffen, einen Ort, an dem man seine Seele baumeln lassen kann und die Geborgenheit von Heimkehrern und Freunden erahnen, ja erfühlen und erleben kann.
Eure Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber, sehr großzügig ausgestattet und verdient zu Recht 5 Sterne. Wir wünschen euch noch viele liebe Gäste, die eure Gastfreundschaft zu würdigen wissen und mit einem wärmenden Gefühl an euch zurückdenken.

Die Mädchen konnten das Velo benützen, Tischtennis spielen, mit die Katzen spielen. DVD ansehen usw.
Wir waren schon oft im Emmental Region. Aber noch nie so freundlich empfangen und dazu noch ein ausgezeichnettes Nachtessen bekommen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung super. So viel da.
Service phänomenal. Umgebung wunderbar.

Although Ruth and Hans were not able to be home, they left us in the care of their daughter and son-in-law, who were very welcoming and we enjoyed the brief visits with them. Even the neighbour lady stopped in and made us feel at home.
The location is central to the areas we wanted to visit, including Bern, Lucern, Thun & the famous Eiger, Monk and Jungfrau mountains. We didn't have to drive more than an hour to get to any of these places. What a treat.
The apartment had everything we needed for our stay including some fresh raspberries in the garden.
There are also well marked trials throughout the area, starting right next to the house.
I would highly recommend anyone visiting Switzerland to consider the Schneider's place. -

Wärmstens zu empfehlen !! Wer nicht hin fährt ist selber Schuld.
