The vacation rental
Lovely double upper character Victorian flat with panoramic views of Edinburgh to the hills beyond, located in a safe and upmarket part of Edinburgh City, just 5 minutes from the Centre. Newly furnished and excellently equipped, this apartment boasts quality fittings and furnitures, plus the usual mod cons eg dishwasher, washer dryer, microwave, 32" TV with Freeview, DVD player etc.
Our flat is a much loved home from home with facilities for up to 8 people sharing, including kids. There are 4 bedrooms: double, kingsize, twin and single rooms, plus a blow up single bed and cot. There are large separate living and dining rooms and a large kitchen with window seat. Outside is a garden bench.
Suitable for non-smokers only and no loud parties. |

The surrounding area
Located in an upmarket area just a mile to the City Centre (junction of Hanover and Princes Streets), or 15 minutes walk. The West End is 10 minutes walk, as is Haymarket Train Station. 2 minutes walk are local shops, services, and a bus stop, where all buses go to town. The Airport Bus stops here.
Edinburgh Airport is 20 minutes drive. The Edinburgh Bypass is 10 minutes drive. The City Centre is 5 minutes drive.
Edinburgh attractions range from 2 minutes walk to 15 minutes drive, depending on your destination. The flat is very quietly located but is close to all routes: a great flat for a relaxing break away from the noise and crowds but with easy access to town and countryside.
Murrayfield Stadium (for rugby fans) is 5 minutes walk.

This City apartment is great for sightseeing and shopping, enjoying the attractions of the City and touring. Other activities near the flat can be accessed within 5-20 minutes drive. Eg. swimming pool is 5 minutes drive; Hillend skiing is 15 minutes drive. The Water of Leith path is behind the flat for walking or cycling to other parts of the City.
