The Holiday house
The holiday home is separated into one living room, two bed rooms, kitchen, bath/toilet and corridor. You will find all you need for catering yourself in the kitchen: electric cooker including baking oven, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, pots, dishes and cutlery. The living room is equipped with satellite television, radio as well as a small travel library. The first bed room is furnished with a wooden bed and a big wardrobe. The terrace is covered and there is garden furniture and a transportable grill available for you and your family. The estate is surrounded by a fence. There is parking space for your car inside the estate as well as outside.

Location and surroundings
In front of the estate is a forest lake for swimming and fishing. The next restaurant is only 600 m to walk . The countryside around the forest is perfect for hiking and cycling. The cycle path “Elberadweg” (like the river Elbe), 2.5 km, leads you through the town Coswig. The path is easy and lies across shady forests and huge meadows from the Elbe river. The Elbe can be crossed with the Gier ferry (4 km). On this side of the river you can explore the wonderful Wörlitzer Park (a huge
park) with its palace and the English garden. The Wörlitzer Park is UNESCO world cultural heritage. Approx. 12 km away is the town Wittenberg – the cradle of the of Reformation and the "Bauhaus" (Walter Gropius) town Dessau (20 km) with its famous theatre.

Further activities
The Elbe meadows are wonderful for hiking, to go boating or fishing. The cycling paths are well developed, for example the R1 path – the Elberadweg and the Muldentag-Radweg (cycling path along the river Mulde). There are 8 “theme routes” around the region with different lengths (e.g.: “Kohle-Dampf-Licht-Tour; “coal-steam-light-tour”).
