The Holiday House
The Gite is simple, cosy and especially wonderful for people looking for quiet surroundings and lots of space. The cottage has two stories. The ground floor has a cosy livingroom with kitchen (ca 30m2) with all you comfortably need, a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. On the first floor: the bedroom (ca 30m2) with a huge bed for two. We can accommodate 3 persons with an extra bed. From there you have a wonderful view on the valley. Great awakenings! You relax on your own terrace with chairs and a table to have dinner or coffee. In front of the cottage lies a small countryroad for the neighbours (farmers) to pass by. Plus the postwoman and the baker a couple of times a week, so you can buy fresh croissants at your doorstep!

Location and surroundings
Maison Perdu, named after the former cat of the house, is surrounded by silence. Meadows, cows, sheep and a occassional tractor to disturb the silence. If you follow the road to the top of the hill, you walk into a cool forest. Great walks! The French around are all farmers. Enough of the silence? There are plenty nice villages, towns and cities nearby with musea, shops, markets, cafes and restaurants. Chiddes is the small village closest by, within 5 minutes by car. It has a a bakery and a Café-Restaurant for an afternoon drink or a nice, simple meal. Around 15 minutes further up, is Luzy, with more cafés, restaurants, shops and a supermarket. Autun, with a nice weekly farmersmarket and a big supermarket is around 40 minutes away by car.

by B. Huck from CalwSehr liebevolle herzliche Vermieterin , die aber keinesfalls aufdringlich ist!! Ein wundervoll ruhiger Platz, mit gemütlicher Terrasse und Blumenmeer. Für kühle Tage prasselt der Holzkamin. Direkt vom Haus kann man eine herrliche Runde drehen, mit weitem Blick über das Land. Enorm viel Infomaterial liegt im Haus bereit.
In Luzy gibt´s alles was man braucht. Lohnend, die Wanderungen um die Morwanseen, der Canal nivernais, Ufer der Loire zum Picknick.
Für Reiterleute: 10 min weg:v Domaine Mont Chenis: Ausritte auf prima Pferdchen in grandioser Landschaft mit viel Ruhe und Genuss.
Alles war bestens. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder !! Wir empfehlen diesen schönen Platz von Herzen weiter !!!
