The surrounding area
To please the eye, to refresh Nature, to revitalise the mind one could think that Erasmus wrote those lines with the city of Bregenz in mind, whereelse could one find such a great variety if not in Bregenz. Like a magic bow of bucolic idyll extending to the big city air.
The city center can be reached in 15 minutes, by taking a walk along the waterside of Lake Constance or by following the romantic path on the hillside. Thus, the Festival building, trainstation, Art House or the waterside can be reached easily.

Travel information
Coming from Germany: take slip road Lindau before the austrian border, app. one kilometer before Bregenz you will come accross a yellow building on the left hand side, take a left and drive 500 m uphill to the Neue Schanze.
Coming from the Rheintal motorway: take slip road Bregenz before the Pfänder tunnel and take the Citytunnel straight towards the city center ...
Coming from Switzerland: towards city center ...
... Drive through Bregenz towards Germany, cross the roundabout, further down the road until you see a yellow building on the right hand side, take a right before that building and drive 500 m uphill to the Neue Schanze. |
