Here you find everything that guarantees a relaxing holiday - in a holiday house that is decorated with traditional Cretan things. Enjoy the view to the wonderful blue sea, the impressive 'Ida'-mountains and the 'Messara' plateau. And all this close to a sandy beach.
Spend romantic evenings in front of the illuminated pool (30 m²)- Feel the soft and fresh sea breeze on your skin and relax.
The exclusive and family-friendly Villa Aphrodite is with its 130m² living space very suitable for up to six persons. The tiled pool is very inviting for a cool-off.
There are 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms have double-beds, 1 has twin beds. There are 2 fully equipped bathrooms with shower and/or bathtub.
The kitchen offers any comfort and is fully equipped
Special features
You should absolutely visit Crete in the winter! Until December the temperatures are autumn-like, from January the wild-flowers (clover, anemones and orchids) start to bloom in all their splendour. We are organising trips by foot, motor-bike or Jeep.

Pitsídia, a picturesque village with approx. 600 inhabitants, is located on the south coast of Crete. It can easily be reached from the airport in about 60 minutes. The next beach is only 800m away.
There are many good shopping opportunities for the daily needs: small supermarkets, bakeries and butchers (who sells regional honey and cheese as well).
Pitsídia is a rather peaceful little place. Every evening, everybody meets at the town square. Even during summer it is pleasantly idyllic.
If you are looking for some hustle and bustle, you can easily go to Mátala by car or bus. There you find many cafés, restaurants and souvenir shops.
Nearby are several sandy beaches such as Phaistos or Gortis, depending on what you are looking for.

Es hat uns supergut gefallen

by L. Winkendick from WeiterstadtWir haben zwei sehr erholsame Wochen hier erlebt. Villa Aphrodite ist großzügig, sehr gepflegt und in Top- Lage. Die liebevolle Ausstattung und den Putzservive nach Halbzeit haben wir sehr genossen. Der Rundum- Balkon bietet grandiose Ausblicke in alle Richtungen: Meer, Berge, Olivenhaine oder in den Garten. Zwei kleine Familien haben hier gut Platz. Unsere Kinder (13, 14 J.) und mancher Erwachsene haben den Pool als willkommene Abwechslung zum nahen Meer genutzt. Auch gut geeignet für kleinere Kinder (unter Aufsicht!), da der Pool von knietief bis kopfüber langsam absinkt. Iris kümmet sich - je nach Bedarf - sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit um alle Sorgen und Fragen. Beim gelegentlichen Ratsch auf der Terrasse kann man über Land und Leute erfahren. Das Meer ist immer in Sichtweite und durch einen Spaziermarsch in ca. 20 min. quer durch den Olivenhain zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto sind es nur ca. 5 Minuten auf der Fahrstraße. Der nächste und beste Strand ist in Commos. Feinster Sand so weit das Auge reicht. Hier ist Baden mit oder ohne Kleidung erlaubt. Zu den Pfingstferien war hier kaum jemand unterwegs. Genauso nah ist der Strand von Kalamaki. Gerne sind wir auch am Strand entlang von Commos nach Kalamaki gelaufen 15 min). Hier kann man gut kleine Fische essen. Eine Portion reicht für zwei. Am besten mittags, abends gibt es keine mehr (Taverne Delphinos). Villa Aphrodite lädt durch den Grill und das leckere Lammfleisch vom Metzger in Pitsidia (nach Ortseingang gleich links) zur Selbstverpflegung ein. Aber die kleinen Tavernen in Pitsidia sind auch sehr zu empfehlen: Vor allem Restaurant" Mike", vor dem Hauptplatz rechts in die Seitengasse abbiegen. Sehr gut auch die Taverne Sophia in Sivas (1km).
In Pitsidia tobt nicht das Touristen- Nachtleben. Wer die Ruhe und Idylle in Meernähe und am Rand eines ursrünglicnen Dorfes mit ausreichender Infrastruktur zu schätzen weiss, ist in der Villa Aphrodite sehr gut aufgehoben.

Die Villa ist sehr schön, groß, super ausgestattet und sauber (toller Service!), hat einen atemberaubenden Blick, einen schönen Pool und liegt sehr schön eingebettet in der dörflichen Umgebung. Man hat unzählige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Strände und das wunderschöne Dörfchen Pitsidia (mit schönen Tavernen) in Spaziernähe. Iris, die Vermieterin ist hilfsbereit, aufgeschlossen und super nett. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an so wohl gefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr nach Hause. Für Erholungssuchende und Abenteurer gleichermaßen zu empfehlen!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
