The Holiday House

The Karolina house has a lot of charm and is comfortably fitted out . The living room, the kitchen and the bathroom constitute the ground floor. The magnificent open fireplace is preserved. The kitchen is well equipped. The large bathroom has bath.
Stairs lead to the first floor where a cosy bedroom with a double bed is to be found. From here you have access to 2 spacious terraces.

The Kadiani house consists of 2 separate buildings. In between there is a terrace/pergola that links them together. The kitchen is situated in the smaller building and is comfortably fitted out. In the other building you will find the living room, a separate bedroom and the bathroom with shower.
From the roof terrace you have magnificent views.

Special features

Each apartment can be rented individually or both can be rented together for big families.
If you would like to enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional Greek house in a lovely Cretan village, then a stay at the Karolina/Kadiani house is ideal.

Location and surroundings

Pitsidia is a quiet but not deserted village.
You reach the very nice traditional square after a 3-minutes walk. In the village there are mini-markets, bakery, butcher, tavernas, hair-dresser
After a nice 25 minutes-walk through the olivefields you will reach the magnificent beach of Komos.
Pitsidia is perfectly situated to discover the archeological sites of Faistos, Gortys, Agia Triada. Matala is also very nearby. In the area you have also the possibility to make nice walks in the undiscovered gorges. We will be glad to advise you.

   Wir haben nun schon 5 wunderschöne Urlaube im Haus Karolina verbracht…spricht das nicht für sich???
   
   Das wundervolle alte Natursteinhaus wurde liebevoll und detailgetreu renoviert. Es besticht vor allem durch die zahlreichen Terrassen um das Haus, die sowohl Sonne als auch Schatten bieten.
   Ein traumhafter Blick auf das Psiloritis-Gebirge lässt das Frühstück in der Sonne mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft, der nirgendwo auf der Welt besser ist, noch besser schmecken.
   
   Die Vermieter kümmern sich engagiert, aber nicht aufdringlich um ihre Mieter, sie sehen sie wirklich als Gäste ansehen, haben immer wieder gute Tipps für Ausflüge.
   
   Das Haus Karolina in Pitsidia ist besonders empfehlenswert für Menschen, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen, die aber die Nähe zum Dorf nicht missen möchten. Pitsidia hat seinen ursprünglichen Charakter beibehalten und die Touristen passen sich dem Dorfleben, das es dort wirklich noch gibt, an.
   
   In diversen Minimärkten kann man sich auch ohne Auto mit den Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs eindecken…und abends in den Tavernen des Dorfes („Mikes Restaurant!!!“) sehr gut essen. Von Pitsidia aus gibt es herrliche, leicht zu bewältigende Wanderwege, ein Auto lohnt aber allemal, um die wunderschöne Messaraebene und die Wochenmärkte der Nachbarstädtchen zu erkunden.
   
   Besonders eignet sich das Haus in Kombination mit dem Kadiani-Haus für zwei befreundete Familien, die durch die Belegung der beiden Häuser eine abgeschlossene kleine Anlage bewohnen.

   wir haben die letzten 2 wochen das ferienhaus kadiani in pitsidia bewohnt und waren begeistert.das haus ist mit viel liebe zum detail eingerichtet und bietet sowohl komfort wie atmosphäre.die besitzerin (Caroline)ist sehr sympathisch und kümmert sich liebevoll um das wohl ihrer gäste.das haus liegt zentral und doch ruhig,so dass ein entspannter urlaub gewährleistet ist.die kleinen lebensmittelgeschäfte decken den täglichen bedarf ab und sind zu fuss erreichbar.der strand ist ca. 2 km entfernt und ist,falls kein auto vorhanden,auch zu fuss ohne weiteres erreichbar.trotzdem haben wir uns entschlossen für die 2. ferienwoche einen wagen zu mieten,um die umliegenden dörfer,städte und strände zu erkunden.es hat sich gelohnt.
   ich kann dieses objekt wirklich allen die eine unterkunft mit charme suchen wärmstens empfehlen.
