Originally an antique stonehouse of the early nineteenth century, La Muraglia has recently been redeveloped carefully, using traditional and eco-friendly materials. Ancient stone walls with a particular charm make for a warm and welcoming enviroment. The rooms furnished carefully, with attention to detail. You can admire the curtains (hand-embroiered linen in the Sicilian style), the artistic antique furniture, accordingly restored; every setting has been designed to offer guests the maximum comfort in the style of age-old Sicilian traditions. The bathroom have been tastefully and carefully furnished. |

The surrounding area
La Muraglia rises from the typical countryside of Ragusa, amongst ancient olives, almonds and leafy carob trees and has a splendid view of the Mediterranean Sea.
La Muraglia is situated in a central position as regards several interesting places to visit, it offers, at the same time, the peace of the country and the pleasure of the beach: infact the beaches of our litoral are fantastic, they have gold finest sands and clean and calm sea.
Just a few kilometres from this oasis of serenity, you can reach the most beautiful and charming baroque cities of Val di Noto UNESCO World Heritage Site (Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Noto).
In 5 km you can reach good and aconomical restaurants where eating our typical sicilian speciality.
