	The surrounding area Mashay Barn is ideal for exploring this lovely part of East Anglia, which is famously known for the filming the TV series “Lovejoy”. With the Suffolk/Essex border just 50 metres away from our property, we can offer our guests a wealth of attractions and places to visit in both Suffolk and Essex and all within a short car journey. Numerous pretty villages to visit locally, Clare, Finichingfield, Long Melford and Lavenham, to name but a few. Gosfield Lake, which is only 6 miles away, offers an 18 hole Golf Course, Water Skiing, fishing and walks through its Nature Reserve. Kentwell Hall, Hedingham Castle, Gainsborough House that is all steeped in history are within an easy drive. Our guests are amazed at how much there is to do.
