	The surrounding area Our condo is located in a quiet place in the Zugspitz town Grainau. It is the perfect area to relax and enjoy the peaceful environment that the Bavarian Alps have to offer. With various outdoor activities and relaxing possibilities, Grainau is ideal for a family vacation in all seasons. Grainau is placed at the foot of the Zugsptize (Germany’s highest peak) and is in one of the most beautiful settings in the Bavarian Alps. It is only 6 km away from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and has various public transportation opportunities for you and your family to use. This special town in the Bavarian Alps is one of a kind. Because of construction liabilities, Grainau has maintained its small-town atmosphere.
