The vacation rental
When you spend your vacation with us at the Schlosshof, a wonderful landscape will be waiting for you.
You can experience the quiet of the Black Forest, and recover from "everyday life" on your own balcony with a wide-open view of surrounding meadows and forests.
On the sun terrace you can bask in the warm rays of the sun, and in the evening you can use the large barbeque, and let the restful, leisurely day, come to an end.
Leading directly from our farm are numerous hiking trails which you can use to discover the Black Forest by foot, or you can use the new mountain biking network that runs directly by our farm. |

The surrounding area
Our single farm lies far away from traffic at app. 600m (200ft) on the Passhöhe Heidburg.
The farm is a starting point for many beautiful hikes at higher grounds between Elz and Kinzig valleys, and offers a glorious panoramic view over meadows and forests. From your balcony you can watch the deer grazing, and maybe you will spot a rabbit or fox too.
From our front door you can start on a level, Nordic Walking excursion, and for inline skaters we have the perfect course leading directly from the farm. In addition, when riding the newly developed network of trails for mountain and road bikes, you'll get more than you bargained for.
