The Holiday House

We offer a completely restored Hungarian holiday home with many great details. There is a high quality bathroom, a wonderful kitchen, tiled stove, a dining room, living room with leather sofa and three bedrooms with wooden furniture.

There is a swimming pool (10 x 60 m) with modern technology and a luxurious outdoor kitchen on the 2,000 sqm big property. To increase your feeling of well-being, the property is fenced with a pretty brick wall and has an electric entrance gate. On request, you can park your car in the shady barn.

Boat trip on the Drava, Danube-Drava national park, place of pilgrimage Mariagyüd, Villany with its vineyards, Siklos castle and public pool, Pecs/Fünfkirchen Capital of Culture in 2010 is only 35 km away.

The holiday rental is located in the southern part of Hungary.
- 10 min on foot to reach the river Drava
- 5 min to the Drava national park cycling path
5 min by car to the next shopping facility and several restaurants
- 8 min by car to reach a riding-stable with friendly hosts
- 8 min by car to reach a fishing pond
- 10 min drive to the town of Siklos with public outdoor pool, castle, shopping facilities and all kinds of restaurants (www.siklos.hu)
- 15 min drive to the world-famous health resort Harkany (www.harkany.hu)
- 15 min drive to the place of pilgrimage Mariagyüd

From Budapest to new M6. Opened in April 2010. You go up to about 30 km from the cottage on this highway. The remaining stretch of land is used for tuning in to your vacation. Also Pecs is now very easy to reach.

   Wir waren (sind) total begeistert von diesem Anwesen. Wir fühlten uns wie die Superreichen und haben die kurzweiligen 14 Tage sehr genossen. Der Pool ist ein Traum für die Kinder (11+4), der Kleine hat sogar schwimmen gelernt :-)
   In der Umgebung ist Einiges geboten. Empfehlen kann man das Thermalbad in Siklos. Auch für Familien zu empfehlen ist Pauls Csarda, tolle Bewirtung zu günstigen Preisen. Wir waren ein paar mal da und wurden immer nett empfangen. Wer nicht auf Ganztagsbeschallung und Clubtänze steht kann hier mit der Familie, sicher auch zu zweit, einen erholsamen Urlaub ohne Hektik und Stress verbringen. In der Nähe ist Alles was man braucht. Gasthöfe, Schwimmbad, Einkaufen, geteerte Radwege an der Donau & Drau entlang, Arzt, Krankenhaus, letzteres haben wir zum Glück nicht gebraucht.
   
   Worauf wir uns schon freuen ist die Erweiterung um ein Appartment, das in kürze fertiggestellt wird. Das Schlafzimmer haben wir schon gesehen. Dann können wir auch unsere Freunde beim, sicheren, nächsten Besuch mitbringen.

   Unseren Sommerurlaub 2010 verbrachten wir im "Haus Anastasia" im Süden von Ungarn. Das Haus und das Grundstück sind einfach wunderbar. Alles ist hochwertig und gepflegt. Da der Dachausbau voran schreitet, gibt es nächste Jahr 3 Schlafzimmer und dann werden wir sicher wieder kommen! Das neue Erlebnisbad von Siklos ist in 10 min. zu erreichen und es ist wirklich sehr schön geworden. Aber der Pool auf dem Grundstück ist noch viel wichtiger. Auch Pecs ist jetzt (Kulturhauptstadt 2010) eine Reise wert. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter!
