The Holiday Apartment

Our holiday home is rated with four stars and located in the Hessian Rhön Mountains in Hilders, Eckweisbach in the Scheppenbachtal, close to the Wasserkuppe and the tripoint of Hesse, Bavaria and Thuringia.
The holiday home is spacious and tasty and comfortably furnished. There is enough room to sleep 5 people. The holiday rental has a tiled stove (wood available), central heating, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bedrooms (cot and high chair available), shower/tub/wc, separate toilet, 2 balconies, satellite tv, separate entrance, parking lot, parking space for motorbike, barbecue, playground and petting zoo.
You can start hikes and walks perfectly here, since our property borders to meadowland.

Special features

We have a large yard in front of the house for romping around and playing ball. There is another playground behind the house with sandpit, slide and swing behind the house. You can also take a rest at the table.

   Unser erster positiver Eindruck im Internet wurde bei unserer Ankunft in der FeWo mehr als bestätigt. Die Räumlichkeiten, die Einrichtung, Sauberkeit und Lage des Objektes, machten es uns leicht, sich hier wie Zuhause zu fühlen!
   
   Obwohl wir schon des Öfteren in der Rhön Urlaub machten, so haben wir diesmal eine Unterkunft gefunden, die so zentral liegt, sodass Wasserkuppe, Milseburg, Schwarzes Moor u.s.w. in kürzester Fahrzeit zu erreichen waren. Auch konnten wir von der FeWo aus zu etlichen Wanderungen (ohne Auto) aufbrechen!
   
   Ein noch größeres Plus waren die "SUPER" Tipps für Ausflüge etc. von den Hausleuten (vielen herzlichen Dank an dieser Stelle an den Senior Herr Spiegel) und die Unterhaltungen zur Abrundung eines schönen Urlaubstages!

   Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Wohnung bietet viel Platz, könnte aber etwas mehr Flair haben. Die Lage ist klasse, zum Wandern ideal. Sehr nette Vermieter, sogar der Kachelofen war schon angeheizt...

   Was will man (Frau, Kinder) mehr: geräumige, saubere (!) Wohnung, immer angenehm warm (dank Kachelofen), dazu stets freundliche Unterstützung durch den Gastgeber - ach ja, Schnee lag natürlich auch noch (satt). Die verschneite Milseburg als Ziel ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Also, wer nicht wiederkommt, ist selber Schuld.

   Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen in der Ferienwohnung! Es gibt viele tolle Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung, wir waren z. B. auf der Wasserkuppe (+ Fliegerdenkmal + Sommerrodelbahn), im Wildpark, im Schwarzen Moor und auf dem Kreuzberg, wo es im Kloster sensationell gutes Bier gibt! Zum Wandern oder auch für kleinere Spaziergänge ist die Gegend sehr gut geeignet!
